Doesn't that just look......like something you wouldn't want to eat? Luckily you don't have to. I decided to try my hand at making some baby food. I didn't want to make too much just in case it didn't work or she doesn't like a certain kind. So, I cooked and pureed a small squash and some carrots we already had. It was pretty simple and a lot cheaper than the store bought baby food. Let's just hope she eats it!

you are so domestic, britt! i always have dreams of making more things in my life 'homemade'. thanks for your inspiration. (though i don't think baby food is on my list any time soon!)
That is exactly what I think every time I eat squash, but I really do like it. Hopefully Hannah does too:)
I'm impressed. I have never attempted to make baby food. About as close as I've gotten is mashing up food.
Good for you! I love making baby food. You can also freeze it in ice cube trays and then just thaw however many cubes you need.
